Client: Private commission
This illustration was comissioned as a gift for the client's boyfriend. She wanted to depict him and his pet dogs and snakes, along with a few personal items to give the picture character. After the first talk with the client, and based upon the photographs she provided as reference, a few initial sketches and layouts were done.
After discussing the initial ideas, several more references were provided, and the likeness was approved. Then it was time tosettle on a definitive layout for the illlustration.
After the line work was approved, we went to the final part, the coloring of the image. This is the final result, after approval:
