This started as a class project, and the assignment was to reinterpret a literature or fairy tale classic. So we came up with a version of Little Red Riding Hood that would be adapted to the Brazilian Cerrado biome, giving the story and the character a local feeling and aesthetic.
The focus was on the little girl, who would have a make-over to look more like a child born in the Midwestern region of Brazil, where the capital, Brasilia, is located. After we setttled on the look, we went to an illustration that could also be a book cover for the project.
