The Live Explore Project was an e-learning course developed by GP Strategies for a client, in which they wanted a character to represent their virtual assistant for the trainees on the course. The client asked for a main character, Mia, who'd represent the student, and another one, Aurora, who'd be the assistant.

The client had two specifications for the character of Mia - She had to be female and she had to have a look that used the colors of the client's visual identity. She should also allude to a technological, modern feeling. A few options were sketched and, after revisions with the client, refined into the final version, shown below.
After the final look of the main character was approved, the task was to create the assistant, Aurora. After a talk with the client, it was defined that Aurora would be a "hologram looking" version of Mia, and that they would appear and interact with each other in a "futuristic" setting.
Both characters were approved, and the interaction between characters and background met the client's expectations. The assests were then sent to the developing team handling the designing and UI parts of the project.
